Plasma Fibroblast Therapy

Plasma is the fourth state of matter. Many places teach that there are three states of matter; solid, liquid, and gas, but there are actually four. The fourth is plasma. To put it very simply, a plasma is an ionized gas, a gas into which sufficient energy is provided to free electrons from atoms or molecules and to allow both species, ions, and electrons, to coexist. The funny thing about that is, that as far as we know, plasma is the most common state of matter in the universe. They are even common here on earth. A plasma is a gas that has been energized to the point that some of the electrons break free from, but travel with, their nucleus. Gases can become plasma in several ways, but all include pumping the gas with energy. A spark in a gas will create plasma. A hot gas passing through a big spark will turn the gas stream into a plasma that can be useful.

Plasma fibroblast technology utilizes plasma to cause a minute, superficial impact with exceptional precision to the skin. This process evokes the natural protective nature of the skin. In doing so, the body is triggered to regenerate the skin in the area where the plasma was applied. As the area begins to heal itself clients will immediately note the area appears pink or red similar to a sunburn. This area will begin to oxidize in the air and can appear to brown, crust, or scab. The scabbing is not due to coagulated blood, rather to the treated areas exposed to the open air.

The body then begins to restore under the surface of the skin. The rejuvenation process for a single application of plasma to the skin is 12 weeks. It is important to understand that Plasma is not a new technology. It is only new in its application as a treatment for anti-aging and skin tightening.
